At a Snail's Pace?

"Time sometimes flies like a bird, sometimes crawls like a snail; but a man is happiest when he does not even notice whether is passes swiftly or slowly."
Ivan Turgenev(1818-1883): Russian novelist, short story writer and playwright

Lovely quote for the photo. I remember seeing last night how the snails reproduce, leave their shells and crawl on the landscape, then when a partner comes along interested, they coiled with each other for one hour and hanging on something fertilized the eggs outside their bodies. When finished they both fall one ahead of the other with a thud on the ground. The eggs look like a slime mass of white material, yucky-looking!

Thanks Andrea, I had no idea about their method of reproducing. Very intersting information. Have a great day.

Karin, thank you for the comments. For some reason, my desktop computer will not allow me to leave a message on your blog. I will try again with my iphone as it works on another blog that I have the same issue with. I think my computer is begining to show signs of old age. Ha Ha! So am I.

Great focus on your subject Randy - no need for a blazingly fast shutter speed ;-)
And true words of wisdom in that quote !

I think the analogy might hold true for internet connection speed too :(

Yea, I was able to slow down on this one Rick, Ha Ha. Not quite as crisp as I wanted but I was free hand and still got a little blurr. I am afraid most of my time is speeding by lately. Got to find that slower speed. Take care.
